The San Diego Chargers look to pick up where they left off last season when they made a late surge in their last four games. Under new head coach Mike McCoy, the Chargers exceeded expectations last year. The team made their first playoff appearance since 2009, and the Bolts look to strike again with a vengeance.

Starting quarterback Philip Rivers is looking to make the plays. Rivers hoping to load the weight off Keenan Allen, coming off a spectacular rookie campaign, with the help of Malcolm Floyd, who was sidelined for much of the 2013 season. Along with what can potentially be the best offensive backfield with Ryan Matthews, Danny Woodhead, and newly signed free agent Donald Brown, the trio running backs give the Bolts offensive tools necessary to make plays.

The Bolts’ defensive unit led by Melvin Ingram, the team's best pass rusher, and Dwight Freeney, will be interesting to watch. Cornerback Brandon Flowers will lift pressure from the Bolts secondary. Also, first-round draft pick Jason Verrett has shown flashes that he will have immediate impact with the Chargers secondary.

The San Diego Chargers have depth, talent, and the coaching staff to have an exciting season this year. So grab some San Diego Chargers tickets this season to see the Bolts strike on the field!

San Diego Chargers Schedule 2014

Coming off a Wild Card berth last year, Philip Rivers and the Chargers want to get back to the top of the AFC West. The Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs all stand in their way over the course of the schedule, as do teams from the AFC East and NFC West. It should be a wild season in San Diego, so find the game you want to see on the San Diego Chargers schedule.

Key Home Games

Week 2 vs. Seattle Seahawks - The defending champions make an early trip down the coast to take on the Bolts. This should be a good test to see where both teams are at the start of the season and is one of the hottest tickets on the schedule.

Week 14 vs. New England Patriots - Tom Brady and the Patriots always drive excitement wherever they go, and this matchup against San Diego late in the year already has plenty of hype.

Week 15 vs. Denver Broncos - This game could go a long way in deciding which team, Denver of San Diego, wins the AFC West this season.
