How Does an e-ticket work?

E-Ticket stands for electronic ticket or e-mail ticket. The tickets will come in a PDF file and be available for download soon after your order is submitted, when the ticket seller processes the order and uploads the tickets. If, for whatever reason, you order e-tickets and receive the wrong file, please contact us and we will sort the problem out for you. All of our tickets are backed by our GoSafe Guarantee.

Instant Download Tickets

An instant Download ticket is essentially an e-ticket that is made available to you as soon as you complete your order. These are retrievable here or by logging in and clicking on the Tickets button in your CHARGED.fm account. If your tickets are ready for download, you will see the button marked 'Tickets.' Click that to download your tickets.

It is possible that your tickets are not available yet. Check your order status here to make sure your tickets have been delivered. If your tickets are marked as delivered then there might be an issue if you are trying to use Adobe Acrobat to open the tickets.

What is a mail ticket and how can I track it?

Your Tickets are physical tickets and will be mailed to the mailing address provided. At the time you received your order confirmation email, your tracking number was provided to you in your order details. You can also find the tracking number by logging into your CHARGED.fm account and looking in the My Orders tab.

You can check your FedEx tracking number here under your order to find your tracking number and see the progress of your shipment.

PLEASE NOTE: For tickets shipped by FedEx, we strongly encourage our customers to signup for notifications with FedEx as we have no method of providing the realtime status of your shipment. Keeping your tracking number on hand and checking in on your FedEx shipment progress at all times will ensure your tickets will be delivered in time.

What is a will call ticket and how does it work?

Closer to the event date, the seller will let us know where and when you can pick up your tickets, and what information you will need to retrieve them. Once we have that information, we will email it to you.

Problem Downloading Tickets

I can't download my e-tickets

It is possible that your tickets are not available yet. Check your order status here to make sure your tickets have been delivered. If your tickets are marked as delivered then there might be an issue if you are trying to use Adobe Acrobat to open the tickets.

Buying Tickets

You will receive an “Order Confirmation” email. The majority of orders are confirmed within a day, but in some cases it may take up to two business days. If you haven’t received one then please let us know. For events in the next 24 hours, please contact us here or call us at (646) 490 2700 if you do not receive a confirmation email within five hours of the event start time. Please note that the ticket resellers are ultimately in control of when the tickets are uploaded. For events not in the immediate future, many sellers retain the right not to release the tickets until closer to the event.

If you don‘t receive an email please login to your account and check your order in the user dashboard under the Orders tab. You may have trouble accessing your emails because many email addresses that are on a private network block out emails from unknown senders. These would include school and work emails (ex .edu), as well as AOL and Comcast. To avoid this problem, we recommend using a general email such as a Gmail or Yahoo for tickets.

First, please login to your account and double check the order that you placed against the tickets that your received. If the ticket seller did indeed make a mistake then please contact us so that we can fix the problem.

When you enter an email address and password during checkout you automatically create a CHARGED.fm account. Afterwards, you can use your email address and password to login to your account in order to check the status of your order, download your tickets, sell tickets, create events and monitor your transactions.

The tickets listed on our website come from a wide network of suppliers, so each set of listings has to be individually confirmed and shipped. This in turn makes it very difficult to allow you to make a large order of different tickets at the same time. Contact us if you have a special circumstances that require this and we’ll try to help as we can.

What is an E-ticket?

The tickets will come in a PDF file and be available for download soon after your order is submitted, when the ticket seller processes the order and uploads the tickets. If, for whatever reason, you order e-tickets and receive the wrong file, please fill a Customer Service Request and we will sort the problem out for you. All of our tickets are backed by our GoSafe Guarantee.

Some tickets are available instantly, and others not, because of the different software that professional sellers use to manage their inventory. We hope that one day all tickets will be instantly downloadable and scannable at all venues. This would benefit event-goers immensely.

Yes. Not all stadiums are equipped to scan from a phone, so to be on the safe side we advise that you print all tickets.

2. Once you are in, click ‘Orders‘ from the menu list on the left.
You will see a list of all the tickets you have purchased. If your tickets are ready for download, you will see the button marked ‘Tickets‘. Click that to download your tickets.

What is an Instant Download ticket?

Some tickets are available instantly, and others not, because of the different software that professional sellers use to manage their inventory. We hope that one day all tickets will be instantly downloadable and scannable at all venues. This would benefit event-goers immensely.

What is a Mail ticket?

Your Tickets are physical tickets and will be mailed to the mailing address provided. At the time you received your order confirmation email, your tracking number was provided to you in your order details. You can also find the tracking number by logging into your CHARGED.fm account and looking in the My Orders tab.

What is a Will Call ticket?

Your Tickets will be available for local pickup at or near the venue.

Selecting Seats

Will my tickets/seats be together?

Yes, your seats will be consecutive unless otherwise noted in the ticket description. Don’t forget to check.

We can’t display seat numbers because the majority of tickets are shipped directly from our sellers and are never in our possession. Because of this we are unable to guarantee exact seat locations. For example, if you purchase two tickets from a set of six tickets we cannot guarantee which two of the six tickets our seller will send. In addition, sellers may decide to not disclose exact seat locations to protect their identity, for example, if they are a season ticket holder and their identity is tied to those seats. Requiring the sellers to disclose actual seat numbers would reduce the number of available tickets for our customers to purchase. We do guarantee the tickets that you purchase will be for side-by-side seats unless otherwise specified in the ticket notes.

There's Something Wrong With My Tickets

Why is the name on the ticket different than mine?

The name on the ticket is different because it was resold to you by the original purchaser. CHARGED.fm acts as the middleman between ticket sellers and buyers. The ticket sellers buy them first from the box office or online and then post them for sale on our site and others. Don’t worry, though, the tickets are valid. You don’t need to show your ID, only the barcode on ticket must be scanned for you to enter the event.

First, please login to your account and double check the order that you placed against the tickets that your received. If the ticket seller did indeed make a mistake then please contact us so that we can fix the problem.

Cancellation Policy

Can I cancel my order?

As stated in the CHARGED.fm Terms and Conditions and our checkout page, all sales are final. Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled. Please, only order tickets after you are sure that you want them, then double check to make sure you order the correct event, date, time, and quantity. If you order incorrectly, if your plans change, or if can no longer attend an event, you may not change, exchange or return your tickets.

If an event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. New tickets will not need to be issued. If an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, then please let us know of the cancellation. If the tickets were mailed to you then we will process the refund as soon as we receive the tickets. No, sorry, but all sales are final at CHARGED.fm and we don’t offer refunds or exchanges. If you don’t want to use these tickets then we suggest that you resell them to offset the cost.

We know, it seems straightforward to just switch the tickets out, but unfortunately it is not. Our inventory consists of tickets being resold by hundreds of ticket sellers with their own return policies. When you buy tickets from us you are usually buying them from someone else who might not be able to sell them again if he/she offers you an exchange. The ticket industry is very time sensitive, and therefore, most ticket resellers prefer not to exchange tickets, leaving it up to the customer to verify the tickets they are purchasing before hitting Submit.

What is CHARGED.fm?

First and foremost, we are a group of people like you that were tired of paying service fees and not understanding what they were for. So we set out to create a single place where you can accomplish anything related to ticketing, and do it for the lowest fees, or when buying tickets, for no fees.

This means that the local venue owner can come here to have a website built, or use our software to do his/her ticketing; the season ticket holder can come here to sell his/her extra tickets to the games they can’t attend; you can come here to create an event page for your fundraiser, after party, convention, etc. and promote it and sell tickets. We never ask fans to pay service fees and we charge the lowest fees possible to those people that sell tickets.

Yes! It’s very safe to order from us. We’ve been in business since 2011 and have sold thousands of tickets. All orders are guaranteed by our GoSafe Guarantee and our site is SSL encrypted. We will never pass your information to a third party.

The simple answer is that we don’t add on any extra service fees. Afterall, we started this company in order for fans to have a place to go to get the best deal on tickets. The longer answer is that we have a special pricing algorithm that dynamically prices our tickets. We also bargain with ticket sellers for the best price, something which then allows us to offer you better prices with no fees. When it’s all said and done, though, it’s about not being greedy.

Like other sites, all of our major sports and concert tickets come from our network of professional ticket sellers. Rest assured that any ticket you buy from us will be authentic. Unlike other ticket sites, we offer all kinds of tickets. This means that we offer tickets sold directly from venues, tickets being resold by professional resellers and tickets to events that people like you create using our free tools. We’re like Ticketmaster, Stubhub and Eventbrite all rolled into one -- with lower prices.

Ticket prices are set by our suppliers. Ticket prices are influenced by the supply and demand for an event, so prices are constantly being updated by the ticket resellers. Prices can change at any time without notice, as the ticket industry works much like the stock market, and prices will rise and fall based on how soon the game is and what the demand is like.
