The second coming of the Ottawa Senators has yet to see the success of its predecessor. The Original Ottawa Senators, founded in 1883, won 11 Stanley Cup titles. Since their second coming in 1990 the club had to wait two seasons to begin playing again in the NHL. The ‘92-’93 season was the rebirth of the once successful Ottawa Senators in the NHL. In their return, the franchise has seen great success. The team has qualified for 14 of the last 17 Stanley Cup playoffs, won four division titles,won the 2003 presidents trophy for best record in the league and went to the 2007 cup final where they eventually lost to the Anaheim Ducks. Ottawa Senators 2014-15 Schedule

The senators begin their season on a three game road trip. Beginning in Nashville, The Sen’s also travel to Florida to take on the Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lighting. October 16th is The Senators are back in Ottawa to face a tough Colorado Avalanche team in their first home game. The Senators end their season against two difficult Metropolitan division opponents in the New York Rangers and the Philadelphia Flyers on April 9th and 11th respectively.
