More About Los Angeles Lakers

LA Lakers Tickets Information

Established: 1947 (Los Angeles Lakers since 1960)

Arena: Staples Center

1111 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015

NBA Championships: 16 (1949, 1950, 1952, 1953,1954, 1972, 1980, 1982,1985, 1987, 1988, 2000,2001, 2002, 2009, 2010)

Notable Players: Kobe Bryant (G), Nick Young (G), Jeremy Lin (PG), Carlos Boozer (F)

Rivals: Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers are synonymous with NBA success. From George Mikan’s Minnesota Lakers teams, Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s “Showtime” teams of the 80s and Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal’s dynasties, the Lakers have been able to stay competitive with an incredible amount of longevity.

However, the Lakers are coming off their worst season (27-54) since 1959. Kobe Bryant is now the man in charge of leading a young, inexperienced Lakers team back to the postseason. There are many solid pieces on the roster, from veterans Steve Nash and Carlos Boozer to young guys Julius Randle, Jordan Hill and the newly acquired Jeremy Lin. This season will represent one of Kobe Bryant’s greatest challenges as a pro, but if he can stay healthy, Bryant is more than capable of bringing his team to the playoffs. Get your Lakers tickets to see what Kobe can do with this young team this season!

LA Lakers Schedule

The Lakers didn’t win much last year whether they were playing at the Staples Center or on the road, but this year they look to change all of that. A healthy Kobe Bryant means a much more competitive Lakers team, and that means much more excitement in LA. All of the stars come out to see the Lakers play, especially when the team is competitive, and that should be the case. Check out the entire 2014 Lakers schedule and find the Lakers tickets that are right for you!
