Romo, Romo, Romo. That’s what most Cowboys tickets holders say while shaking their heads leaving AT&T Stadium, aka “Jerry World”. The sometimes brilliant, sometimes disappointing QB has been the focus of much debate around the NFL in the past few years. Great in fantasy football, bad in the playoffs, Romo is both loved and hated by Cowboys fans.

But this isn’t body Romo, it’s body America’s Team, a name given to the Cowboys by Bob Ryan, the editor-in-chief of NFL Films in 1978. He said he coined this name because he thought that the nation was so used to seeing Cowboys games live that the players’ faces should be as familiar to the public as presidents and movie stars.

While still America’s Team, and still playing those Thanksgiving Day games, the Cowboys haven’t returned to the Super Bowl since 1995. They’ve made 5 playoff appearances since 2000, but haven’t made it out of the Divisional round. We’ll see what the 2014-2015 season holds for them, if Romo can shake the monkey off his back and bring glory back to America’s Team. So grab your Dallas Cowboys tickets to check out one of the most entertaining teams in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys Schedule 2014

The Cowboys are trying to make the postseason for the first time since 2009 and are also trying to win more than 8 games for this first time since that same season. The Cowboys will have to top their NFC East rivals the Washington Redskins, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles. They also square off against the NFC West and AFC South outside the division. Check out the Dallas Cowboys schedule and find the best games to check out this season.

Key Home Games

Week 1 vs. San Francisco 49ers - What a game to start to the 2014 season. Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and the Cowboys look to start the season with a bang against the 49ers.

Week 4 vs. New Orleans Saints - The Cowboys haven’t beaten the Saints since 2009 and look to get back to their winning ways against Drew Brees and New Orleans in a high-profile game.

Week 13 vs. Philadelphia Eagles - Dallas’ last chance to get a home win against an NFC East opponent, the Cowboys will look to get an edge in the divisional race against LeSean McCoy’s Eagles.
