The Presidents trophy is awarded to the NHL Team that holds the highest point total at the end of the season. The Boston Bruins were awarded this honor last season after accumulating 117 points during the 2013-2014 regular season. Since the hiring of head coach Claude Julien in 2007, The Bruins have made the playoffs every year. In 2011, The Bruins raised Lord Stanley’s trophy after a dramatic seven game series against Vancouver in the Stanley Cup Finals that saw the Bruins rally from a 2-0 series deficit to win the final game on Vancouver’s home ice. Since their Stanley Cup victory, The Bruins returned to the finals in the lockout shortened 2012-2013 season, where they lost on their home ice in six games to the Chicago Blackhawks.

With virtually the same roster intact from last season that saw the B’s reach the second round of the playoffs, they can be expected to finish near the top of the conference and division standings come mid-April. With coach Julien the Bruins are always a top contender to reach the later rounds of the playoffs. WIth all of their recent success, Boston Bruins tickets are some of the hottest tickets going in Beantown.

Bruins Schedule 2014-15
