There's something to be said about the excitement and atmosphere of a really great rap or hip-hop show. When an artist is really leaving it all up there on the stage and getting the crowd amped, it's a real rush that feeds everyone in range.

They decided to join forces and go on a mini-tour for the month of August, starting on the 7th. Originally, they planned to perform one day in Pasadena, California, East Rutherford, New Jersey and then Detroit respectively, but bumped it up to two days per venue due to popular demand.

During an interview with MTV News, Eminem said that, "The perception of the record, what it's saying, I thought it would be a good idea to have her [Rihanna] on it because I think people look at us like we're both a little nuts. That's one of the things that I was telling her in making the record: I think that people look at us a little crazy." "The Monster" surpassed Eminem's solo track "Rap God" on the charts, so their collaboration has certainly had a successful impression.
