From John Wall’s dunks to Kyrie Irving’s playmaking, these are the plays that impressed us the most.

Best Plays From NBA All-Star Weekend

The NBA All-Star Weekend has come and gone, and though it seems to be getting more gimmicky and manufactured every year (I mean they changed the formats for almost all of the events), the weekend still gives us the best players in the world doing some of the most amazing things that this sport has to offer. I could watch three-point contests all night long. The Rising Stars challenge gets sloppy, but it features the best young talent in the league. And I could watch loaded lineups of stars making impossibly difficult shots look positively routine. Defense be damned, All-Star Games are just fun, and last night's was no different.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving took home MVP honors with a 31-point, 14-assist performance, but there were several players that could have taken home the honors. New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony broke the All-Star record with eight three-pointers en route to 30 points. Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant each put in 38 points for the west, and there were numerous records broken for teams and individuals.

There's plenty of good and bad with the All-Star Weekend, but for all of the cringe-inducing moments of awkwardness (like Shaq and Charles Barkley kicking soccer balls), there are that many more awesome plays. Here are a bunch that really stood out to us over the weekend (in chronological order):

Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dion Waiters Square Off

Marco Bellinelli and Bradley Beal Need Overtime in the Three-Point Contest

John Wall Salvages the Dunk Contest

LeBron's Insane Lefty Alley-Oop

Damian Lillard and Chris Paul say it all with their reactions.

Carmelo Anthony Breaks the Three-Point Record

Blake Griffin's Aerial Assault

Steph Curry Finds Kevin Durant

Kyrie Takes MVP
