This may be the last stand-up tour for comedy legend Eddie Griffin

Griffin's Last Stand?

Eddie Griffin has been performing stand-up for over twenty years, and he is very good at it. He is so good that Comedy Central ranked him 62 in their 100 Greatest Comedians of all time list.   Griffin, born is Kansas City, Missouri, has been an entertainment staple since he first started doing stand-up. In film, he is best known for playing the titular character in Undercover Brother , a film that also included Dave Chappelle. Years later these two would work together again on Chappelle’s Show , where Griffin played the part of “Grits n Gravy,” in the “World Series of Dice Sketch.”

To all those who know him, Griffin is a funny, energetic, and wild comedian. He discusses topics ranging from drug use to race, and does so with material that is not preachy, but hilarious. Despite all of his success however, this may be Griffin’s last go round on the stand-up circuit. The comedian claims that this will be his last tour, so if you are at all a fan of Griffin’s work, be sure to catch him when he come to your town.
