Here are movie releases we’re looking forward to this month

March Movie Preview

The Oscars are over and March is here. That means it's spring movie season time, and we're here to list the films we're excited for this month along with some warm weather!

Dead Man Down

As far as Colin Farrell action movies go, the plot of Dead Man Down seems similar to all his other films. What catches my attention during this trailer however is not Farrell himself or the crime-in-New York City-storyline, but the cast and crew behind the film. If you've seen the Swedish The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, you're already familiar with the suspenseful style of director Niels Arden Oplev, who brought along original Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace for the action. That should be enough to excite any mystery thriller fan! (March 8)

The Call

Halle Berry finds herself in a personal dilemma as a 911 emergency operator trying to stop a serial killer from taking his next victim's life. Will she stop this blast from her past from killing the next young girl? Watch her and the emergency center team try to catch him in this thriller costarring Abigail Breslin and former Sopranos star Michael Imperioli. (March 15)

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone

Steve Carell and Jim Carrey are the ultimate funny duo in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, a comedy based on a struggling Las Vegas magician's fight to stay relevant. After a long and successful career with his partner, Burt Wonderstone (Carell) decides to go solo after finding competition from the hottest new magician (Carrey). Magic tricks and physical humor makes the movie look irresistible for any fan of the two veteran comedians. (March 15)

Ever wonder what a Ivy League admissions officer is like behind those rejection letters? Tina Fey's character seems like a good guess in Admission. The comedy puts a humorous take on college admissions and what students and parents would do to get into their dream college. Fey plays a Princeton admissions officer whose personal life conflicts with her decision making as she's forced to be on the other side of rejection. Paul Rudd brings even more comedic chemistry as Fey's love interest in this sure to be classic college comedy. (March 22)

The Place Beyond the Pines

Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper in a crime drama about stunt motorcycle riders? Sounds like a recipe for box office success to us. The trailer for The Place Beyond the Pines promises a story that has something for everyone: action, drama and romance. Some are even saying it's reminiscent of another Gosling thriller hit - Drive. We'll see how well Pines does in comparison, but something tells us the Gosling/Cooper fans won't be disappointed. (March 29)

Other Notable March Releases:

Oz the Great and Powerful, Olympus Has Fallen, The Croods, Spring Breakers, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Host
