Surviving Members Of The Monkees Announce U.S. Tour

In this article…

Fifteen years after their 1997 U.K. tour, Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz, and Peter Tork have decided to reunite as The Monkees for a short stint playing across the United States later this year. During the twelve-stop tour, fans can expect to hear some of the greatest hits and deepest cuts from the band's first five albums in addition to a selection of music from their film Head and their TV show, all accompanied by a series of rare films and photographs.

The tour marks The Monkees' first performance since the death of singer Davy Jones earlier this year, and the band plans on paying homage to the late legend through "the show's multimedia content." The full list of dates, as well as the tour poster can be found below. (Via Rolling Stone).
