This weekend, the world was buzzing with news that Miley Cyrus dyed her hair blonde. Press jumped at the chance to cover this story, leaving poor Miley's life in shambles.
The 19-year-old starlet's secret was exposed. She had been living a double life. Cyrus had what is referred to as Clark Kent syndrome; while most people knew her as the young girl with light brown hair, many recognized her as a separate person whose hair was a slightly lighter hue.
Clark Kent, of course, also led a double life. With glasses, Kent was a journalist for The Daily Planet. WIthout, he was a man with super powers that wore his underwear on the outside. Not even his companion Lois Lane knew of his duplicity.
Cyrus' fiance, Liam Hemsworth, seems to be familiar with both of her personas, yet it is unclear whether he was aware that they were indeed the same person. No one knows if this heavy secret will affect their impending marriage.
The traumatic saga has been documented in a series from the Disney Channel, called Hannah Montana, which is believed to be her blonde alias.
