Coldplay and Mumford and Sons Performing

For a festival with "secret" in the title, the Secret Policeman's Ball coming coming to New York City isn't much of a secret anymore.  Via Hitfix.com:

The Secret Policeman's Ball is letting America in on the party: The British-based music and comedy festival is coming to New York in March.

Coldplay, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Mumford & Sons and Russell Brand are among the acts who have signed on for the event at Radio City Music Hall on March 4. The concert will benefit Amnesty International, as it has since it started back in 1976 with celebrities like John Cleese. Over the years, Bono, Sting and others have participated. This will mark the first time it's being held in New York City.

That sounds like an amazing and diverse lineup to me.  Coldplay is coming off the release of their latest album, Mylo Xyloto, while Mumford and Sons currently working on their followup effort to the wildly popular Sign No More.  Jon Stewart is the proud owner of a new Super PAC and Stephen Colbert is running for president.  Russell Brand got divorced.  Fun!

In all seriousness, the just those acts would be enough to get me down to Radio City Music Hall.  I'm sure the rest of the bill is filled with entertaining performers, and it sounds like those who are there will not be disappointed.  Plus, it's for a good cause.  Who can't get behind that?
