Zac Brown Band tickets are some of the hottest around, but they didn't even release an album until 2008. He had a touring band as early as 2002 and played body 200 dates a year. His initial lineup consisted of Brown, on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, backed by a drummer and a bass guitarist. In 2003, Brown started his own label called Home Grown (which is now called Southern Ground).

The Zac Brown Band began touring full-time in 2004, when Brown sold his restaurant and bought a tour bus. The band toured the country playing all sorts of festivals. Also, 2004 saw the release of Home Grown, a Zac Brown solo album.

Through the mid-2000s, Brown added members to complete the band and released the first album under the Zac Brown Band in 2008. Titled The Foundation, which peaked at #9 on the Billboard charts and had four #1 songs on the US Country charts. The Foundation has sold over 2.5 million records to date.

The Zac Brown Band continued to add new members after the release of their debut album. Clay Cook was officially added to the lineup in 2009, just before the release of the band’s second album You Get What You Give in 2010. You Get What You Give debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and also had four songs peak at #1 on the US Country charts, solidifying the band as a country powerhouse.

The Zac Brown Band wasn’t done adding new members. In 2012, Daniel de los Reyes was added to the lineup, as he participated in recording the band’s third album Uncaged. This album also debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, as well as winning the Grammy for Best Country Album.
