More About Los Angeles Rams

St. Louis Rams Tickets Information

Founded: 1936

Stadium: Edward Jones Dome

Super Bowl Appearances: 3 (1979, 1999, 2001)

Notable Players: Merlin Olson, Deacon Jones, Eric Dickerson, Kevin Greene, Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Steven Jackson, Sam Bradford

Once an incredibly tough ticket to secure, the “Greatest Show on Turf” put together a breathtaking combination of speed, athleticism and efficiency in the late 1990s and into the turn of the century. While the days of Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce and Kurt Warner are over, the St. Louis Rams head into the 2014 campaign looking to build on a mediocre 7-9 2013 season. The Rams are hoping for a big year once again from quarterback Sam Bradford, but they are also hopeful that 1st round selections Greg Robinson and Aaron Donald can provide an impact right away as the Rams look to make the playoffs for the first time since 2004.

The Rams, who called Los Angeles home from 1946-1994, captured one Super Bowl Championship in 1999, but have been to the big game three times in their history. They’ve won a total of three League Championships having captured two pre-NFL/AFL merger in 1945 and 1951. Even in a tough division, the Rams are looking to remain competitive with a young, hungry team. Now is the perfect time to get your St. Louis Rams tickets and watch this young, growing team.

The Rams Rivals

Rams vs. 49ers

Sports Illustrated once named this rivalry, which was once one of the most heated in all of sports when the Rams called Los Angeles home, the 8th best in NFL history. While the Rams have headed to the midwest these games are still a great ticket with the 49ers barely leading the all-time series 64-62-3.

Rams vs. Packers

Not a rivalry that typically comes to mind, but the Rams hold a pretty significant place in Packers lore, particularly for Brett Favre. Before Favre, however, the Packers and Rams staged an epic battle in the 1967 Western Conference Championship game that the Packers would win vaulting them to the famed “Ice Bowl” against the Dallas Cowboys. Favre’s history against the Rams had its ups and downs. In 2007, the Packers quarterback would break Dan Marino’s all-time passing record against St. Louis partially making up for his 2001 playoff performance against the Rams that saw him throw six interceptions.

St. Louis Rams Schedule 2014

If the Rams want to break through in a crowded NFC West, they need to get the season started off right. The Rams face their usual slate of divisional opponents in the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. They will also take on teams from the NFC East and AFC West this season. Take a look at the entire St. Louis Rams schedule and find the tickets that are right for you.

Key Home Games

Week 3 vs. Dallas Cowboys - Both of these teams are looking for big bounce-back years, and Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and the rest of the Cowboys will represent a tough test for the Rams.

Week 6 vs. Seattle Seahawks - Coming off a home game against the 49ers, this important NFC West clash against the Super Bowl champions has the makings of a great matchup.

Week 11 vs. Denver Broncos - Peyton Manning will take on the Rams for just the fourth time in his career, which makes this a can’t-miss home date in St. Louis.
