Mavericks Steal Game 4, Take Commanding Series Lead

With Shawn Marion on the free throw line with a chance to cut their lead to a point with less than 40 seconds to play it appeared as if the Oklahoma City Thunder needed to score to finish out a victory against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Marion missed and Thunder coach Scott Brooks called a timeout.

Admittedly, I hated the decision at the moment, so you can call this a first guess. When you struggled to score in giving up a 15-point lead with 5 minutes to play, you can't allow the Mavericks to set up their defense in the half court. And what can you say about Nowitzki? It's become comical at this point. He was getting pushed, bumped and grabbed all night and still managed to score 14 points down the stretch and in overtime and totaled a 12 field goals and 14 free throws.
