P.O.D.
No upcoming events
P.O.D. are no strangers to ShipRocked and fans were looking forward to one of their performances being acoustic but that didn’t happen…and we’re ok with that. On the ShipRocked schedule (fans knew this as the survival guide) it said that P.O.D. had an “acoustic” performance out on the Deck Stage but their first set was anything but acoustic!
Anyone who has seen the band perform over the years knows that they continue to hit the stage with passion and rumbling force. P.O.D. fans aboard the Norwegian Pearl rocked out and headbanged to heavy hitting tracks such as “Boom,” “Southtown,” and newer favorites “Murdered Love” and “Eyez.”
Frontman Sonny Sandoval and the rest of the band put every ounce of sweat into their performances which is one of the many reasons why we hope to see them continue to grace the stages on forthcoming ShipRocked Cruises.
With their eclectic sounds of punk rock and metal mixed with reggae, they were the perfect band to take the stage on the beach of a private island. P.O.D. hit the sandy shores at the Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and cranked out hits such as “Alive,” “Youth of a Nation” and “Lost In Forever.”
On the very last day of ShipRocked, P.O.D. had some fun with their fans during their meet and greets. With a great start off to the year, we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2015 has in store for the band.
Check out our photo gallery below and reminisce about being in the sunny Bahamas. We’ll be counting down until ShipRocked 2016!
