ShipRocked 2015: The Best of Nonpoint

In this article…

Nonpoint are the perfect band for an experience like ShipRocked – they’re fun, approachable and hilarious. Did we also mention that all hell breaks loose when they perform live?

The band ripped through their first set aboard the Norwegian Pearl for ShipRocked 2015, right in the middle of the ship on the Deck Stage outside. They tore it up with tracks like “Alive and Kicking,” “Bullet With a Name,” “Pins and Needles,” “I Said It,” “What a Day” and numerous others.

On the first day at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas the band members led separate teams in all out fun for a tournament aptly called, Beach Wars. Frontman Elia Soriano’s crew won the competition with his team called…The Breaded Shrimp.

Our second day at the Great Stirrup Cay, Nonpoint returned to the sandy haven for an explosive performance right on the Beach Stage! A familiar face to some ShipRockers, was badass sign language interpreter Kelly Swas Skeuse (who interpreted Sevendust’s “Face to Face” last year and showed us the awesome sign for limp d—k which blew minds). Skeuse did an incredible job at signing “Bullet With a Name” to end the set.

In the mix of performing their infectious tunes the ever eclectic Nonpoint also treated fans to their renditions of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” and Bob Marley’s “I Shot the Sheriff.” Check out some ShipRocked 2015 photos of Nonpoint below!
