The 2015 Music Cruise Season is Upon Us

While the Summertime is the prime season for music festivals, there is much to be said about the Winter season and the aquatic festivals that come with it. What can possibly be better than watching live music, while venturing to tropical destinations? While cruises tend to cost much more than your normal festival, there are many benefits that come with boarding a luxury line. These benefits include cruise ship amenities and facilities such as restaurants, bars, pools, casinos, and comfortable rooms to crash in.

Festival Cruises also create a level of intimacy that major festivals simply cannot. This is because a ship can only hold so many passengers which means that concert goers can get closer to the stage as well as getting to know their fellow festival mates.

There are a number of different cruises that feature various genres of music and appeal to all types of festival goers. Music cruises have become all the rage  whether it's the KISS Cruise (rock), Lynrd Skynrd's Simple Man Cruise (country and classic rock), Holy Ship (electro and dance), Jamrock Reggae Cruise (Reggae) among numerous more. Now you don't have to wait until April to attend Coachella, because you can now board the S.S. Coachella in December. This year Pulp, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Girl Talk, Sleigh Bells, and many more will board the ship.

Next year's Holy Ship cruise departs the Port of Miami both in January and in February. Holy Ship features an assortment of different EDM artists and they will differ depending on the month. Some of the biggest names in EDM will be performing (Knife Party, RL Grime, Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, Baauer, Pretty Lights, DJ Snake, Flume and many many more). Holy Ship will set sail to the Bahamas, anchoring in various islands.

If rock is more your thing than you can board the ShipRocked 2015 cruise which will be departing in February, which will be also be setting course to the Bahamas. Headlining the cruise will be Limp Bizkit, P.O.D., and Black Label Society. Needless to say this cruise will be totally beachin'!

These bands aren't battering enough for your ear drums? Death Metal fans can board the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise which is an understatement considering how many kick-ass metal bands will be aboard the ship. Bands consist of Arch Enemy, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Destruction and more.

If being relaxed and listening to country tunes is more is more your style, then check out The Country Music Cruise. The cruise is unique in that it will be on the high seas for 7 days, venturing to a number of Caribbean islands (FT. Lauderdale, Nassau,  ST. Thomas, ST. Croix, and Half Moon Cay). Martina McBride, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charley Pride, and more country stars will be perfroming.

If tropical Islands and live music calls to you, then you are going to want to get on one of these cruises. You will have the experiences of your life, hang out with the musicians you admire and meet life long friends who appreciate the same music and love lounging in paradise.
