W. Kamau Bell Announces 'Oh, Everything' Tour

In this article…

W. Kamau Bell, host of the canceled-too-soon Totally Biased on FX/FXX and a rising political standup, announced a widespread comedy tour today that begins this November. Preview shows will take place this weekend out on the West Coast, but starting November 4, Bell will travel from coast to coast all the way into January. The tour starts in Kansas City, MO and winds through the U.S. before wrapping up in Seattle, WA on January 24.

Bell is one of the smartest and most politically acute comedians working right now. He showcased his ability to comment insightfully and hilariously on topics ranging from race to religion and everything in between on his FX show. I saw him two years ago during the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, and he was one of the highlights of the evening. Bell still has big things ahead of him, including this gigantic tour.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale now while the general sale begins tomorrow. There is a special VIP package available for $50 that includes a post-show meet and greet with Bell as well as an autographed, personalized tour poster. Earnings from VIP packages go towards Race Forward, an organization that advocates for racial justice, focusing on issues such as immigration, LGBT liberation, and economic equity. Race Forward accomplishes its impactful work through leadership development, research, and via its award-winning daily news site, Colorlines. For more information visit: www.raceforward.org.
