Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides Talks 2014 Tour With Falling in Reverse

Anytime Black Veil Brides announce a tour, it’s music to the ears of the dedicated BVB Army. The band is gearing up for a trek in promotion of their forthcoming self-titled disc due out Oct. 28. Their tour mates include none other than Falling In Reverse, Set It Off and Drama Club. In our exclusive interview, frontman Andy Biersack talks about his relationship with the bands as well as his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour.

Biersack dishes on his connection with Falling in Reverse singer Ronnie Radke, “I’ve known Ronnie, not as close friends, but I’ve known him on and off for years. We’ve talked about how it would be great to tour together so it did seem like a pretty obvious thing when it came time to put together a tour package.”

He continues, “Obviously Falling In Reverse are doing super well, I’m very excited to go on tour with a friend that I’ve known for a long time. It’s exciting for the fans because we always like putting together tour packages that will be fun. A lot of our fans like Falling in Reverse and vice versa.”

The Black Veil Brides vocalist also talks about his friendship with the guys of Set It Off. “Set It Off is a band that I met on Warped Tour. Their type of music isn’t something I necessarily listen to but their personalities were really so nice and they’re such good people. I like to be on tour with people I enjoy being around. I like their music, don’t get me wrong but what sold me on them was their personalities.”

Biersack goes on to say, “The next logical step in a tour like this is small arenas but you don’t necessarily have the ability to keep things as fun and exciting and then ticket prices have to be raised and everything like that. We wanted give somebody a big tour package without the big tour package number, it shouldn’t cost 65 dollars to go to the show. You can go for 25 dollars or get the VIP package or whatever. It’s not super expensive and you’re getting a great stacked bill. We’re all about the fans experience and how we can give more to an audience.
