Watch: Andrew Garfield Runs From 'The Beygency' on 'SNL'

Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub also join Garfield on the run in the funny clip.

To coincide with the opening of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Andrew Garfield made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. While the show as a whole might not have been memorable, one of the standout sketches was a fake trailer for a thriller called The Beygency. Garfield's character makes a harmless critique of Beyoncé's latest album, specifically "Drunk In Love," and as a result The Beygency comes after him.

It's a really funny premise that also serves as a terrific commentary on the nature of criticism. You can't say bad things about artists anymore without their legions of fans coming at you to tell you why you're wrong. Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub show up as Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brien from 24 to add another funny celebrity wrinkle to the proceedings, and the pair meet a similar fate as Garfield.

To be honest, I think The Beygency has franchise and spin-off material written all over it. I wouldn't be surprised to see more installments like C.I.Kanye for Kanye West, N.Y.P.Diddy for P. Diddy, or even the F.B.TI. for TI. The possibilities are endless here.

Before you say anything bad about Beyoncé, make sure you know about her upcoming tour with husband Jay Z. Check out the On the Run tour dates here.
