Watch: 'Argentina (Parts I, II, III)' by Tokyo Police Club

In this article…

Canadian indie rockers Tokyo Police Club just released a lengthy lyric video today for their new song (or songs) "Argentina (Parts I, II, III)" directed by Jared Raab. I am guessing that's three songs, but they all kind of blend together into one long, eight-minute track. This is a slightly different sound for Tokyo Police Club. Back in May, they told Huffington Post that they were working on a "pop" album, and you can definitely hear pop influences here. But this is without a doubt Tokyo Police Club's take on pop. It still has their flourishes, still has the wonderfully lazy-sounding vocals of lead singer David Monks. And it's still guitar-driven enough and filled with quirky lyrics to satisfy fans of the old guard.

One would think this new music would mean a new album, but no more info was included with the video. Only the message "More details to come..." I guess we will have to wait on the official word about what bigger project this song will be from.
