VIdeo: Paul McCartney Performed On 'Jimmy Fallon'

Not only did Paul McCartney perform at 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' yesterday, but he also "accidentally" switched accents with Fallon during a skid. "Save Us" was McCartney's first song, after which he switched to piano for some "New" tunes; he even played the Beatles' "Lady Madonna."

McCartney's upcoming album, New, featuring songs produced by Mark Ronson, Giles Martin and Paul Epworth, is scheduled to release on Oct. 15. "I was a little bit worried that you'd have so many different styles, but then I thought back to a lot of Beatles albums where there's crazy variety," McCartney said. "And then I thought, 'Well, that's OK"

The former Beatle recently responded to two of his fans after 50 years; the women were 17 and 19 years of age when they recorded their message after watching a Beatles' concert in 1963. McCartney finally thanked them for their lovely tape after half a decade. Judging by his amazing performance at Fallon's show, we'd like to think that those women were as excited to receive a response from him as they would have been back then.

We always savor McCartney's performances and look forward to his upcoming album. Watch the accent switch right here as well as McCartney's performances:
