CHARGED.fm In-Studio Series: Restorations Performance

We get to hear a stripped down version of their song

A couple weeks back, we welcomed in Philadelphia rockers Restorations to our DUMBO offices for an interview/acoustic session. The band was just on the last legs of their tour and took some time to pay us a quick visit. The song "New Old," which is on their new album LP2, features a raucous bridge to begin that leads into these emotional and sweeping finish. While the studio version sounds much harder and definitely hits with more force, the stripped-down version loses none of the emotional qualities. In fact, it almost enhances them a little bit.

Lead singer Jon Loudon's gravely voice pairs nicely in an acoustic or plugged in setting, and the backing vocals by Dave Klyman and Ben Pierce add just enough harmonization. Take a listen above and let us know what you think!
