Top 10 Biggest Summer 2013 Tours

Summer is just around the corner, so what better way to ring in the good weather than checking out some of the hottest bands and artists around right now?!

This summer is jam-packed with great live shows to suit all tastes; from the poptastic beats of One Direction and Taylor Swift to Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake's smooth hip-hop and R'n'B collaboration, and the unstoppable rock'n'roll sounds of The Rolling Stones. If they don't quite take your fancy, how about checking out one of Dave Matthews Band's rollicking live shows, or an electrifying set from Rihanna or Mumford and Sons?

Here at CHARGED.fm, we've done all the hard work for you and taken the hassle out of finding the best live shows to go to this summer.

With some tours well under way already, you'd better be quick and grab some tickets now if you want to see some of the best acts around!

Here are our top ten carefully-selected picks:

Beyoncé

Queen Bey has just completed the extensive European leg of her "Mrs Carter Show" world tour and she'll be picking things back up in the States at the end of June in Los Angeles, CA, playing 28 shows until reaching her final destination of Brooklyn, NY, in August. Make sure you don't miss out on what is sure to be an electric display of fierce talent and energy from our favorite Destiny's Child and get Beyonce tickets right here now!

Dave Matthews Band

The ever-present Dave Matthews Band began their annual 45-date summer tour last month and will continue until 8 September when they will perform their last show in Mountain View, CA. Despite going on a huge tour almost every year for the last two decades, the band's shows generally sell out fast, so secure your spot and buy Dave Matthews Band tickets now.

Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake

The hip-hop and pop powerhouses come together this summer for a series of stadium shows that are guaranteed to thrill their enormous fanbase. The fifteen-date "Legends of the Summer" tour will kick off in London in July for a one-off European date before returning to Canada and the States for a set of shows that will run until 16 August. Don't miss on seeing this dynamic duo and buy your Jay-Z/Justin Timberlake tickets now.

One Direction

When they're not releasing books and making 3D movies about themselves, the British pop group will be delighting millions of screaming teenage girls on their North American tour all summer which starts on 13 June in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and ends on 10 August in Los Angeles, CA. If you want to be one of those screaming teenage girls, get your One Direction tickets right here!

The Rolling Stones

Despite being together for more than half a century, The Rolling Stones are as strong as ever and are currently in the US and Canada on their 30-date "50 & Counting" world tour. But hurry and get your Rolling Stones tickets now as the British rock'n'roll legends have only a handful of shows to perform here before returning to Europe at the end of the month.

Rihanna

The bulk of Rihanna's current "Diamonds" world tour already took the US by storm earlier this year and the singer is currently in the middle of her European dates. However, fear not; after hitting Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and Africa, she'll be back in the States to perform just five shows in November so get your Rihanna tickets here right now before they sell out.

Mumford and Sons

The British indie band played a set of shows in the US earlier this year, but luckily they're back to resume their tour. But you'd better be quick if you wanted Mumford and Sons tickets to see them live; the boys will be in town for just a few dates in June, with several sold out already.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber's year-long "Believe" tour hasn't been without it's controversies, but on he goes. Since the end of October Bieber has covered North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and following a short break he'll be resuming with another tour of the States at the end of June, so get your Justin Bieber tickets here if you missed out on seeing him the first time round. He'll be starting in San Diego, CA, on June 22 and wrapping up on 10 August in Atlanta, GA.

Zac Brown Band

The seven-piece Zac Brown Band are known for their excessive touring (they played roughly 200 shows in 2002), and this year is no different as they continue to travel across the US this spring, summer and fall until their final show in Chula Vista, CA, on 27 October. Get your Zac Brown Band tickets right here and see the lively country/folk maestros when they come to your town.

Taylor Swift

The thirteenth highest paid musician of 2012 is showing no signs of stopping as her current "Red" tour rages on all the way through to the end of the year, with support from British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. She's got Canadian dates, Australian dates, and plenty of upcoming shows in the US so make sure you get Taylor Swift tickets here to catch the pop princess while you can.

BONUS: Paul McCartney

Sir Paul is back at it with more tour dates this summer with his "Out There" tour. The man is a living legend, and for a guy in his 70s, he is still one fine performer. He is performing at Brooklyn's Barclays Center this weekend, headlining Bonnaroo, and much more. Dont miss out on your chance to see McCartney, one of the greatest artists of the last 50 years, live. Find Paul McCartney tickets here.
