Watch: Rob Delaney Sings The National Anthem

by Photo of Ross Bernhardt

Over the weekend, the comedian and “Funniest Person on Twitter” winner showed off his pipes in LA.

Rob Delaney is a comedian with a funny Twitter account, depending on your taste in comedy. Some of his tweets might seem incredible offensive or just plain deranged, but the man is undeniably funny. He certainly makes me laugh out loud at least once a day due to his Twitter account.

What I'm sure many didn't know about Delaney was what a beautiful voice he possesses, and he showed off the pipes last weekend by singing the national anthem before a Dodgers game in Los Angeles. As Splitsider notes, before becoming a comedian, Delaney had a career in musical theater. He has even sung the anthem for the Dodgers and Red Sox before this. He made sure to let his hometown team, the Boston Red Sox, know about how the Dodgers fared after his performance with a tweet. Because the Dodgers won, Delaney said he would be willing to bring his anthem to Boston and get the Sox a victory.

I'd also agree with him when he said he looks like former Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell. Just grow out the goatee and I wouldn't be able to tell the two apart.
