Snippets From New Album "Wu-Block"

The Sheek & Ghost get a lot of help from their respective crews for this album.

Snippets From New Album

Fans of the gritty 90's hip hop have been patiently waiting for Sheek Louch and Ghostface Killah's group album Wu-Block since it was announced last year. Wu-Block was originally going to be a combination of both Wu-Tang and D-Block but it eventually was whittled down to just Ghost and Sheek. With the release weeks away the duo releases 90-second snippets of every track on the album. Check the snippets and the full tracklist below.

I would like to preface this by saying that this album is not for every hip-hop fan. Just looking at the song titles you can see that this is different then what is released today. The type of person who would listen to this would not have on skinny jeans and a TrukFit hat. The sounds of the 90's are slightly lost in today's hip-hop. This is why most of the big names from back then are not on the top of the charts today. They might be talking about the same topics, but the forum in which they are discussed has changed. This does not discount their contribution to rap, things are just different these days. The guys from both crews (some members excluded) did not evolve with the times, and in the music business if you're not evolving your frozen.

Full Tracklist:

1. Crack Spot Stories (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch, Raekwon & Jadakiss)
2. Pour Tha Martini (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Cappadonna)
3. Pull Tha Cars Out (Feat. Sheek Louch, Ghostface Killah & Method Man)
4. Guns For Life (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Styles P)
5. Comin For Ya Head (Feat. Sheek Louch, Ghostface Killah, Styles P & Raekwon)
6. Cocaine Central (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Styles P)
7. Take Notice (Feat. Ghostface Killah & Sheek Louch)
8. Drivin Round (Feat. Sheek Louch, Masta Killa, Gza & Erykah Badu)
9. Different Times Zones (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Inspectah Deck)
10. Stick up Kids (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Jadakiss)
11. All in Together (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch, Styles P & Jadakiss)
12. Do It Like Us (Feat. Sheek Louch, Ghostface Killah & Raekwon)
13. Stella (Feat. Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch & Method Man)
14. Been Robbed (Feat. Sheek Louch & Ghostface Killah)

If you miss 90's raps, beats and the attitude it came with then you will love this album. Wu-Block is like a time capsule for the previous decade of rap. This album will not gain popular respect like a Drake or a Kanye album would bring, but the people who grew up in that era will appreciate it.
