“Sweet Nothing” combines Harris’ beats with Welch’s powerhouse vocals.

Listen: Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch

It's hard not to fall in love with Florence Welch's voice.  It sounds angelic and powerful, like it's booming right from the heavens above.  So it's logical that she join forces with Calvin Harris to create an anthemic house track that will get everyone moving.

"Sweet Nothing" is the latest single off Harris' upcoming album 18 Months which features a stunning array of collaborators.  Those appearing on the album include Ne-yo, Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Kelis, and plenty more.  This song is definitely club fair, but Welch's refined and dynamic voice brings an air of gravitas to the track.  She croons over an ever escalating beat until it drops, and it takes everything for the bass and noise to finally drown out her voice.

I don't usually listen to music like this, but Harris seems like one of the more accessible artists for those looking to get into this genre.  This song is no different, a it pulls me in from the start and doesn't let me go.  I might have to start expanding my musical horizons.  Listen to a radio rip of the song below (the quality is a bit off) and look for 18 Months when it releases October 29.
