A rumored collaboration that could stand up to even Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Skrillex Announces Kanye West Collaboration

In this article…

Only one day after signing Hundred Waters to his OWSLA label, Skrillex has announced even bigger news. In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, the EDM mogul stated:

I did some music with Kanye and from what I know, it's actually going to be the first song on his new album.

The "new album" Skrillex is referring to isn't the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation, Cruel Summer, set to hit shelves September 4th, but rather the sixth solo LP Kanye's been hinting at, which may (or may not) be released as early as quarter four, 2012.

Although Mr. West has yet to comment on the rumored song, it does not seem too farfetched. Kanye is known to be a fan of Skrillex' remixes and his Watch The Throne album with Jay-Z features the dub step inspired track "Who Gon Stop Me" and West has always explored various sounds when creating his beats and samples. We'll just have to wait and see what happens with this collaboration.
