The Gaslight Anthem, a.k.a. Bruce Springsteen's favorite new band, have released a video for the title track of their new record, Handwritten . The video is just a glimpse of what will be a short film released by the band (via AbsolutePunk.net). The video, and presumably the film, focuses on the life cycle of a physical record, and how it can mean the world to someone while being just a piece of junk to another.
The new album is already receiving high praise as the band quickly rises to stardom. Handwritten is The Gaslight Anthem's major label debut on Mercury Records, and fourth studio album. You can stream the record here (NPR.org).
Handwritten will be available online and in stores on July 24th.
