Florence and the Machine
No upcoming event
Florence + the Machine has had to cancel part of their European tour as their front woman, Florence Welch has lost her voice. The singer took to Twitter this morning to share the unfortunate news.
The group is currently on tour promoting their most recent album, Ceremonials (which is amazing if I do say so myself). The group was set to appear in Spain and Portugal for two concerts this week but had to cancel in order for Welch to “avoid permanent damage.”
“I've sustained a vocal injury and been told I cannot sing for a week…, seriously I felt something snap, it was very frightening . . . Unfortunately this means I will not be able to perform at Benicassim and Optimus Alive Festival this weekend… I am so so sorry… I hope I can make it up to you in the future, have an awesome time… yours croakily florence…x”
If you haven't had the chance to check out what Florence + the Machine sounds like unplugged, take a listen to their musical genius. We're wishing Florence a quick recovery!
