Adele Is Pregnant!

The Brit singer/songwriter will soon be cradling a baby instead of trophies.

In this article…

As if this year wasn't already a huge success for Adele, the 24-year-old Brit singer/songwriter has shared that she is expecting. She announced the news on her website today, saying that “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me,” and that she and boyfriend, Simon Konecki are “over the moon and excited.” Adele also asks of her fans to respect their privacy at this precious time. Adele and Konecki met in the UK last summer, but made their romance official when he accompanied her to the Grammy awards and helped her lug home her numerous trophies.

Prior to meeting Konecki, Adele said she would wait until 30 to try and start a family. This was probably because of the difficult family life she had, as well as her history of heartbreak. But Konecki changed that. A close friend of Adele tells US Magazine, “she's smiling in a way I haven't seen in a long time.”

The couple spoke about children and decided that it was something they wanted sooner. Konecki already has a 5-year-old daughter who Adele adores, but of course, she wanted her own bundle of joy. Although Adele's pregnancy may have happened a little too quickly for some people, it was reported that Adele actually wanted to be pregnant by the end of the year and we know Adele can accomplish anything she wants.  All I can think about is how lucky that baby will be to be sung lullaby's by Adele. The “Someone Like You” singer will finally have someone like her, in baby form and sources tell Huff Post that she already has a list of names lined up.
