Morrissey Announces North America Tour

Morrissey, formerly of The Smiths, has announced a North American tour this fall. The godfather of mopey indie music will make stops in 33 cities to spread the gift that is Morrissey. His Los Angeles performance at the Staples Center will be headlined by Iggy Pop and the Stooges.

Morrissey has long been a source of controversy for his contrarian tendencies, sexuality, and animal rights activism. He has earned the ire of fellow musicians such as The Cure's Roberth Smith, who famously said, "If Morrissey says not to eat meat, then I'll eat meat; that's how much I hate Morrissey." His most recent spat has been with British music mag NME, who accused Morrissey of racism. NME eventually apologized, leading Morrissey to scoff in their general direction. Oh, Morrissey! His American fans will get bask in his glory come October, so all is well. New Yorkers will want to look out for his Radio City Hall appearance.
