Rookie Phenom Bryce Harper Delivers Perhaps His Best Big League Moment Yet

Leave high school early to become a professional athlete, check.  Sign a $19 million contract and reach the majors while still a teenager, check.  Show up a reporter and become an Internet sensation in the process, check.  There seems to be very little that Bryce Harper can't do these days.  There is one thing though that he's not legally suppose to do, and one Toronto reporter wasn't shy about getting Harper's thoughts on the matter.

When asked whether or not he planned to celebrate his seventh home run of the season with a drink, Harper replied, "I'm not answering that.  That's a clown question bro."  Though Harper isn't 21 yet, the drinking age in Ontario is only 19, same as Harper.  Clearly the question was aimed at the the young slugger's age, but Harper also happens to be a mormon, a religion that prohibits the consumption of alcohol.  When a member of Washington's PR staff suggested the reporter move away from the subject he instead pressed on, at which time Harper countered like a seasoned veteran and put him in his place.

Shortly after, the retort spread all across the internet, trending on twitter, dominating search engines, and yes, it even found its way on t-shirts which can be purchased at online retailers like this one.  On YouTube, "That's a clown question bro," has inspired numerous parody videos, paired with celebrities like Barbara Walters, Jessica Simpson, and even a rather clever Jack Sparrow alcohol related clip which can be seen below.

With Harper seemingly having the answers for everything, perhaps Nats pitcher Gio Gonzalez should've asked Harper to help him find a date instead of Twitter.
