Videos: Artists Take the Stage at Capital FM's Summertime Ball

Wembley Stadium was filled with 80,000 screaming fans ready to hear their favorite artists last Saturday at Capital FM's annual Summertime Ball. The 2012 lineup did not disappoint. Coldplay opened the day-long music event with a high energy performance of hits including, "Viva la Vida," "Princess of China," and "Paradise." After that, the band rushed off to a concert in Manchester, revealed frontman Chris Martin while talking with Capital FM before the set. Next on the stage was Kelly Clarkson who performed her newest single "Dark Side," as well as her most recent hits, "Stronger" and "Mr. Know It All."

Also taking the stage was Jessie J with an extensive setlist including renditions of "Who You Are," "Price Tag," and an impressive performance of "Domino." Check it out below.

The day only got better with Flo Rida's set including "Good Feeling" and "Wild Ones," Usher with David Guetta's summer collaboration, "Without You," and Ed Sheeran. The Wanted performed swoon-worthy versions of "Lightning," "Glad You Came," and "Gold Forever." Audience members were also given a surprise performance by Cheryl Cole who sang her new smash hit, "Call My Name."

And if the day's acts didn't have you overwhelmed already, Justin Bieber took the stage with a lengthy setlist including "Somebody To Love," "Baby," and "One Less Lonely Girl." The teenage superstar brought "Call Me Maybe" songstress Carly Rae Jepsen on stage to perform her smash hit as well as her latest single "Curiosity" before finishing up for the night with "Never Say Never" and "Boyfriend."

Katy Perry rocked the stage as the headliner with a comic book themed set filled with hits like "Hot N' Cold," "Last Friday Night," "Part of Me," "Firework," and "California Gurls."

Other artists to take the stage included Example, Rita Ora, Pitbull, Conor Maynard, Cover Drive, Dizzee Rascal, DJ Earworm, and Lawson.

The Summertime Ball at Wembley has no doubt become a beloved musical event since Capital FM first debuted the festival in 2009. Rita Ora gushes about the prestigious venue: "Being on stage at Wembley-- Wembley is such an iconic place-- being on stage and having my moment was something I won't forget," she tells the backstage interviewer at Capital FM. "It was the best thing, I had so much fun."
