Even Obama Can't Help Auburn Against LSU

This summer the national champion Auburn Tigers football team visited the White House. But after losing key players like Cam Newton and Nick Fairley, they are 5-3 and won't be making a trip back to Washington. However, Barack Obama did appear briefly on the Auburn sideline this Saturday.

Auburn was visiting #1 ranked LSU and were already trailing 42-3 midway through the third quarter. The offense had been struggling all game and then Obama made his appearance to try and save the day. (Video Below)

No, Obama was not actually present but his appearance on the Auburn play card led to their longest play from scrimmage. The 31-yard pass from Clint Moseley to DeAngelo Benton was their best play of the day as they went on to lose 45-10. Perhaps they should have called play "Obama" more often.
